We are very pleased to announce the general availability of Optima 2.7!
Optima 2.7 builds on the foundation laid with previous releases, that have made Optima for OSE a truly complete integrated development environment, supporting every phase of the product development and life cycle, that have made Optima for OSEck the best looking kernel awareness and runtime trace and profiling tools on the market, and that have also pioneered the Enea tools offering for Linux.
The main new features of the Optima 2.7 release is the introduction OSE support in the Source Profiler (known from the Bare Metal Performance Tools offering), making it a full member of the Optima Tool Suite and allowing OSE developers to get access to the hardware statistics vital to optimize performance on multicore devices, and the upgrade of GDB for OSE to version 7.4, which brings back full support for the ARM architecture, including the Thumb-2 instruction set.
